The BCAS mobile breathing air purifier, designed by the BCAS technical department, is a fully self-contained unit designed to provide a reliable and quickly-available source of quality controlled breathing air in isolated locations.
The temperature of air produced by this unique product can be adjusted for maximum operator comfort and when used in conjunction with the prerequisite filtration, provides the highest quality breathing air to BSEN 12021 standards.
Breathing Air Testing
COSHH regulations require a minimum interval of
three months between tests of breathing air systems,
while BSEN 12021 stipulates minimum quality
standards for breathable compressed air, covering
levels of oxygen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, lubricants, water, other types of contaminants and
odour.
BCAS draws on years of experience to provide a worry-free programme for a certified breathing air testing service, carried out by our engineers – the ‘competent persons’
required by BSEN regulations
